LambyTerms of Use
Effective October 28, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Santiago Zottig, the maker of Lamby ("we", "us"). By using Lamby you accept them. If you got Lamby from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if these terms and Apple's disagree, Apple's win where the law requires it.
Subscriptions and free trial
- Lamby needs a subscription: monthly or yearly. New subscribers may get a free trial; the paywall shows how long it is, when the first charge happens and how much it is.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when the trial ends (or when you subscribe, if there's no trial).
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings (in Lamby: Profile → Manage subscription). If you cancel, Lamby stays open until the end of the period you paid for. Canceling during a free trial means you won't be charged.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we can't issue them ourselves.
- We may change prices; a change never affects a period you already paid for, and the store tells you before it applies to a renewal.
Not medical advice
Lamby offers sounds, stories, breathing exercises and planning tools to help with routine, focus and rest. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or cure ADHD, insomnia or any other condition. If you have trouble sleeping or concentrating, talk to a doctor. Don't do the breathing exercises while driving or in any situation where you need to stay alert.
The Brain Dump and AI
The Brain Dump uses an AI model to sort what you write. Its suggestions can be wrong or incomplete: you decide what to do with them. There's a daily limit on how many times you can use it. Don't write anything you're not comfortable sending for sorting; see the Privacy Policy.
Your account
You're responsible for your device and for the email you add to your account. You can delete your account anytime in the app. We may suspend accounts used to abuse the service (for example, automated use of the Brain Dump).
Content
Lamby, its character, sounds, music, voice recordings and stories belong to us or to their licensors. Some stories are public-domain recordings from LibriVox, credited in the app. Your subscription lets you use the content inside Lamby for your own personal, non-commercial use; you may not copy, resell or redistribute it.
No warranty
Lamby is provided "as is". We work to keep it running, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free, or that it will improve your sleep or focus.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for Lamby in the 12 months before it.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, if the change matters, tell you in the app. Using Lamby after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This doesn't take away any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the place where you live.
